Read about different cities in the United States. Choose one you would like to visit. Research that city and write a report about what you would like to see and do there.
What is your favorite sports team? Write about why you like that team? Add details including the number of players, the object of the game, etc.
Go to the library. Read several folktales or fairy tales. Choose one you especially enjoy. Then write a version of that story with your own twists and turns.
