Do you have a favorite teacher? What makes him or her so special? Write about it!

Write about a time when you pulled a prank on someone. Think about why you did it. What could you have done instead?

Write about an animal that you would like to have as a pet. Research it. What would it eat? Where would it sleep?

Research a historical figure. Write a report based on your findings. Turn it into a game show you can play with friends or family.

Discuss with a parent what you should do if you ever get lost. Write down the plan and read it aloud to your family.

Write a story about a character who does something wrong. What happens as a result? What does the character learn?

Think of an activity you enjoy. Describe how to do it using the words first, next, then, and finally.

Write a persuasive essay about something you would like to see changed at your school.

What is your favorite fairy tale? Write an adaptation of it. Change the plot, create a surprise ending, or add new characters. Make it your own!

Think about what makes you happy or sad. What other emotions do you experience? Write about them in your journal.

Invent a board game. Write instructions on the rules of the game. Create the board game out of cardboard or paper. Play it with your friends!

Take inspiration from the world around you and create your own art.
